PanoToday we leaned how to use photo merge. Photo merge is a feature on photoshop that lets photos merge together and create a Pano! I learned that when creating a Pano a tripod is key. with out it your photos are uneven and you have to do a lot of cropping and that makes the photo smaller.

RetouchingIn photoshop today had to take a photo a car and go into photoshop and fix the car. We took out some of the light glaer and tinted the windows. Above we have the orginal image and there is a lot taking away from the car. We had to go into Photoshop and fix all the distractions. What I learned from this is how to take a noisy backround and fix it so that you can focous more on the subject of the photo. I also learned how to clone stamp, i love this tool so that i can get rid of light glears and distractions.
In this assignment we had to chose a subject and plan it out. Then we took over 50 photos and narrow it down to 15 and less.In this photo I turned it black and white and turned down the color and brightness. One trouble I had with macro was the camera had a hard time focusing on the eye. It took a lot of moving and switching modes on the camera. I learned that to get a good macro photo you need to plan and you have to work with the camera.
Today's assignment was to mess with the heat and saturation. we took one photo and messed with the thereshold and then messed with the color so that we had a red one, blue one, green one and a yellow. In this assignment I learned how to use the crop tool and how to mess with the thresehold and how to change the color of an image. This will be helpful when i want to make my photos a little more colorful. The thereshold will help when i want a darker photo.
Macro eye/tearWhat i was trying to do here was show the motion of the pages and how crisp i can be and how the pages can start to blur together. If you look at the first one thats nice and crisp and then at the last one where the pages start to blur together you can see the movement. What I tried to do with these photos was to use the Ap to blur the subject and then bring it back into focus. The camera had a hard time focusing on the subject (flower) so the last one ( F 8.0) has a soft look to. What I LearnedWhat I learned in this project was when your on TV mode you cant change the AP and it makes the photos a bit darker. I learned that panning is a big thing with shutter speed and is you you want focused subject you might want to use a tripod.
Aputure plays a big rule i your photos if its off your photos will show it. when taking a landscape your gong to want to tone down how much light your letting into your camera. In this assignment we had learn how to use different things to create a good photo. the point of this was to get use'd to using theses elements of photography. What I LearnedI learned that you don't have to point and shoot for a photo and that it takes some time to get a good photo. From diffrent angles, good photos can become great photos. Sometimes to get the photo you want you have to put yourself in some weird or dangerous places. But you really just have to ask yourself, is it worth it? And most of the time, it is.
